Hi there! I'm Janel, your local Publisher of Macaroni KID Springfield and Macaroni KID Branson. My family and I reside in Southwest Springfield, where I'm a proud mom to four amazing boys ages 2-20! I became the local Publisher of Macaroni KID in the autumn of 2019. We're always on the lookout for engaging activities that cater to all age ranges across Southwest Missouri and beyond. Our favorite family pastimes include hiking, exploring local parks and playgrounds, and enjoying the scenic Ozark Greenway trails throughout Springfield. You may see us around town at local high school marching band events, and at local indoor play places.
I have a passion for writing and I enjoy sharing our family’s experiences and adventures around Springfield and beyond. Beyond Macaroni KID, I am an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) with a bachelor's degree in nutrition science, and the owner of My Nourished Family. I’m currently pursuing a master’s degree to further enhance my expertise and ability to support families in our community.
